State Reappraising Land Before Auction Begins
Full Description:
After a high-profile Phoenix land auction failed to draw bidders this week, the Arizona State Land Department is reappraising another potentially lucrative property in Fountain Hills.
The 1,312 acres in Fountain Hills is valued at $130 million. Land Commissioner Mark Winkleman said Wednesday that an appraiser will decide within a month if that valuation still is appropriate, based on the Valley's sluggish housing market. Find out more.
